Doctora por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid con la tesis Design and development of new bioinks and bioprinting strategies to produce simplified equivalents of human tissues, for earth and space exploration applications 2020. Dirigida por Dr/a. Luis M. Rodríguez Lorenzo.

She is a pioneer in the 3D bioprinting of human tissues. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering from Carlos III University of Madrid, where she also earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering. She has received a positive accreditation from the Spanish National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) for the rank of Assistant Professor.

She has taught at the International University of Valencia, where she lectured in the Bachelor's program in Computer Science (2021–2022) and the Master's program in Bioengineering (2019–2022). She has also taught in the Master's Program in Additive Manufacturing (MIFA) and the Expert Program in Biomedical 3D Printing at the Mechanical Design School (EDDM). She currently serves as a faculty member in the Bachelor's program in Computer Science.

Her research focuses on bioengineering, with numerous publications in top-quartile international peer-reviewed journals. She has delivered invited presentations at international conferences and completed a research stay in Dresden, Germany.

She has participated in several competitive research projects funded through Spain's National R&D&I Plan, private industry, and international programs. She also collaborates with researchers at the Complutense University of Madrid, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and Technische Universität Dresden.

Her current research centers on computational models and solutions for applications in bioengineering and space technologies, collaborating closely with the European Space Agency (ESA). She is a member of the ARIES Research Group (Nebrija Research Group in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Systems).

She earned her Ph.D. in 2020 with the dissertation Design and Development of New Bioinks and Bioprinting Strategies to Produce Simplified Equivalents of Human Tissues for Earth and Space Exploration Applications, supervised by Dr. Luis M. Rodríguez Lorenzo.
